Two separate people texted me that OpenAI finally added conversation branching to ChatGPT.
By popular request: you can now branch conversations in ChatGPT, letting you more easily explore different directions without losing your original thread.

The implementation is quite basic and doesn’t make the different branches visible, but it’s nice to see it added nonetheless. After working on Delta, I never quite sure what the best UX for the feature was.
