My running partner shamed me for aura farming on this website. The same person who told me they would never use AI.

We sat down together more than a year ago and did some work together in Cursor, me sitting backseat, helping them use the tool and steering them to provide context to the agent rather than expecting it to read their mind.

They said I helped them understand the process but that they didn’t enjoy managing an unreliable agent that had to have its hand held. They preferred to do the work themselves because they knew they would do it correctly.

Fast forward to this week and they told me they just built a UI tool at work in less than a day using a coding agent; that it would have taken them weeks to build by hand. They still hate AI.

My takeaway is I turned a skeptic into a believer.
